INTRODUCCIÓN

Angiomyolipoma (AML) is a rare benign neoplasm with mixed mesenchymal components occurring predominantly in the kidney and strictly related to the tuberous sclerosis complex ( 1 ). Extrarenal AMLs are exceedingly rare and less than 50 cases have been reported in the literature: most of them occur in the hepatobiliary and genital tracts but several miscellaneous locations have been recorded (for review see Fegan et al.) ( 2 ). We report a case of AML of the breast which, to the best of our knowledge, represents a hitherto undescribed location of the tumor.
