Case Report
A 60-year-old female, was referred to our institute for the evaluation of a jaundice. The endoscopy showed a polypoid lesion in the papilla of Vater. After surgical partial resection of duodenum with removal of the lesion, it was submitted for pathological examination. The surgical specimen consisted of a partial duodenectomy (5,5x4x3 cm.), with 2 cm. of distal common bile duct. At gross examination, a a 4.5x3x2 cm. sesil polypoid, granullary/papillary tumour juxtaposing the papilla duodeni major was found.
